Creating a Festival to Showcase the Wye Valley
THE inaugural Wye Valley Food Festival was the ambition of a small team of people with a passion for food and a desire to showcase the wonderful home-grown produce 
and talent we are so lucky to have on our doorstep.
Our aim is very simple – to provide a weekend of family-friendly fun, a diverse range of culinary shopping treats, masterclasses and live music over two days. We wanted Food and family friendly fun with live music, cooking demos, fairground rides, face-painting and a children’s activity corner.
Our mission has been to bring a biennial Food Festival to the Wye Valley and to bring people together to explore food, drink and have a great day out in Monmouthshire.
After much planning in the Summer of 2018, we created the Wye Valley Food Festival with a diverse range of culinary and shopping treats that we lined up during our FREE two-day festival Summer Festival at Chepstow Racecourse.
So successful was the Summer Festival that we brought a Winter Festival to the Racecourse at Christmas too but alas the weather wasn't so kind to us in December.
We had fantastic feedback from visitors and vendors in 2018 and were already to repeat it all again in 2020 but sadly, the year didn't quite pan out quite as we all expected it.
The Wye Valley Food Festival will return in a physical form shortly.
